So yesterday my sister came to help celebrate Hazel's 8th birthday. We ended up at the bowling alley. It was alot of fun, but I discovered that actually bowling is much more fun than watching bowling. After 2 games and close to two hours - I just couldn't take it anymore. I grabbed my sister's 12 pound ball with my left hand. I walked to the end of the lane and threw the ball with my non-broken arm straight down the lane and with my first and only throw bowled a STRIKE!

That's how I roll, set 'em up and I knock 'em down.

Ha! I love it! See there is an upswing to being temporarily crippled and unclean.

hmmmm maybe there's something to having one arm in a sling while bowling left-handed... who knows, it could catch on and become a category for competitive bowling!! :) seriously, it was awesome... pretty graceful and confident!

the birthday alarm went off in my phone on wednesday morning for hazel's birthday. the class and i had a happy birthday thought for her during the moment of silence. we miss yall.

glad your bone is enough together to bowl that strike. i hate that feeling of it slipping in and out of being together and making you wanna throw up.

See, bowling is how I got into the whole 'broken arm' mess... and I completely understand the other posts. Unclean and unable to dress yourself? I was just lucky I could work from home!
